For our family & friends
We're going for it...
We've started No Faff, a new ready-to-drink decaf iced coffee brand.
You may have seen chilled coffee drinks in supermarket fridges and meal deals. We're making a great-tasting decaf version. It's a surprisingly overlooked market.
We've got the brand, the recipe, the manufacturer and the plans in place. Now we're raising the capital to make our first commercial run and get No Faff into shops.
We'd like the people we know to be involved from the beginning.
You don't build a business like this entirely on your own.

How it started
It began with a craving.
When Marisa was pregnant with Zev, as with all expectant mums, she was advised to cut back on caffeine.
She still wanted her iced coffee though, just without the caffeine. What should have been a simple purchase turned into a discovery: despite the popularity of ready-to-drink iced coffee and of decaf, there were no ready-to-drink decaf iced coffees for sale.
Marisa has spent nearly a decade in food and drink, including getting products onto supermarket shelves. Simon brings experience in marketing, brand building, building businesses and communications.
Between us, we've got the experience to understand the opportunity and what it takes to bring a new product to market.
So No Faff was born. Really good ready-to-drink decaf iced coffee, made properly. Just coffee, without the faff.
A little message from Marisa, Simon & Zev
Our story so far
From a craving to a can.
What started as a conversation about iced coffee has become a business with a developed product, a brand, manufacturing plans and a growing network in the industry. Here's the story so far.
Before it all began
Early 2025
Just us and Rolex, with no idea that two rather significant new additions were on their way.
The brainwave
Apr-Jun 2025
During Marisa's pregnancy, we discovered there were no ready-to-drink decaf iced coffees. None at all. A gap in a market we already knew.
A rather important arrival
October 2025
Our son Zev arrived. No Faff had a rather demanding new chairman.
No Faff is named
December 2025
We settled on the name and developed the brand. A distinctive British brand, with Manchester roots.
Finding the perfect coffee
March 2026
We reached an agreement with Casey at Girls Who Grind Coffee, whose products are stocked in Selfridges. A big step for No Faff.

May-Jun 2026
We worked with the experts at SH Foodie to develop and taste the No Faff recipe, refining it until it was right. Fortunately, it was decaf.
About SH Foodie ↗Ready for the next stage
September 2026
Marisa was accepted onto First Pour, our recipe is selected, our manufacturer is lined up and our SEIS fundraising is arranged through SeedLegals.

The deadline
We're raising our initial £100,000
before 20 December 2026.
To fund our first commercial production run and take the next step towards getting No Faff onto shelves.
£100,000 is our initial fundraising target within our wider ambition to raise up to £250,000 under SEIS. Target dates depend on completing our fundraising and production arrangements.
The business we're building
Made for the long run.
We've seen drinks brands attract enormous attention, only for it to fade.
We want to build No Faff differently. A product people genuinely enjoy, buy again and come to recognise as part of their everyday lives.
We'll begin with independent retailers and direct-to-consumer, build properly and work towards national distribution, then beyond the UK.
We don't want No Faff to be everywhere for five minutes. We want it to be a brand that's still around for years to come.
A little more about the opportunity
Independently sourced articles for background reading.
They're not about No Faff and don't guarantee any outcome. Future growth isn't assured.
The company we're keeping
Good people. Good coffee.Good company.
We've been selective about who we work with.
Both are exclusive partnerships, and we don't take either for granted.

Girls Who Grind Coffee
An independent, female-founded specialty coffee roastery whose products are stocked in Selfridges and independent retailers across the UK. They source 100% of their coffee from women producers.
Girls Who Grind don't supply just anyone. Earning Casey and the team's trust is one of the things we're most proud of so far, and it's a real stamp of quality on No Faff.

First Pour · Raising the Glass
Marisa was accepted onto First Pour, Raising the Glass's drinks industry incubator programme. It's competitive to get into, and a real signal that people who know this industry see something in No Faff.
It gives us access to experienced operators, valuable connections and a proper grounding as we prepare for launch. We don't take being accepted lightly.
